KPM UK currently have a vacancy within the Maintenance Department for a Maintenance/PPM Engineer. The successful candidate will be involved in: identifying problems and assisting in corrective actions to remove the cause; advising on maintenance and spares holdings; repairs of plant and machinery; and implementing and supporting TPM/PPM across the site. The successful candidate will have completed a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship and have extensive CNC machine tool experience. It is also essential that you are computer literate. Applications must be submitted by Friday 25th April to the HR department.


KPM UK also have a vacancy for a Controls Engineer within the production engineering team. The successful candidate will be involved in supporting all electronic, PLC and software systems, automated data farming, visual inspection and assembly automation. See attached for full details.

The successful candidate must be qualified to at least HNC level in electronics with experience of PLC programming together with signal processing or data acquisition software tools.

KPM UK are offering the following Modern Apprenticeships in 2014:

  • 2x Advanced Level Mechanical Manufacture Apprenticeships
  • 1x Higher Apprenticeship in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering Maintenance.

The successful candidates for the 2x Mechanical Manufacture Apprenticeships will receive 1 year off the job training with subsequent training delivered in company to NVQ Level 3 standard.This apprenticeship is expected to take a maximum of three years to complete.

The successful candidate for the 1x Electronic/Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship will also receive one year off the job training with subsequent training delivered in-company to NVQ Level 4 standard.This apprenticeship is expected to take a maximum of five years to complete.
