A whopping 50% Power increase for Staffa Motors

Further developments in application techniques have enabled a whopping increase in power and speed ratings of up to 50% in Kawasaki Staffa Motors.

The detailed power uprating will be published at the end of the first quarter of 2005 and launched at the Hannover Show.

The methods used have been field tested with two of KPM's key winch gear OEMs and will be valid across the whole range of Staffa Motors.

The new Staffa 80 series will include these power increases and a new design of "inserted pistons". This new design will significantly improve mechanical efficiency and back pressure capability. In fact provisional test results have shown that mechanical friction losses will be halved with this new design. A considerable improvement on a Radial Piston Hydraulic Motor which is the long established market leader.
