Rising to the Environmental Challenge

KPM UK continually works hard to ensure that manufacturing activities are focussed in a way which minimises our impact to the environment.

Our commitment to green issues has been recognised once again by the Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Organisation, who after a recent two day audit have renewed our existing ISO 14001 accreditation – the International standard for environmental management.

During this recent visit the auditor was pleased with our continuation of the standard and impressed with various projects in place which demonstrate our commitment to the objectives and targets that were set internally to integrate environmental considerations into all aspects of business operations.

Recent projects have included the implementation of an energy saving plan and a change to certain cleaning practices to reduce our usage of solvents.

KPM UK have continuously held the ISO 14001 certification since it was first awarded in December 2001 and feel this is a reflection of our high standards for managing environmental issues and an acknowledgement that the KPM workforce and processes are geared to fully accepting environmentally responsibility.
